I got into an accident

Might as well.

I was on my way to my friends house to go there and spend the night (since driving on a late new years night is a very bad idea) and me being me and the island being a bitch to navigate, I got lost.  So I increasingly got angry and called my parents to get me to where I gotta go.  turns out I went to far, so I turn back around.  As I'm heading back I decide to pull into a store to ask for directions.

Note: I was in the left hand lane, big fuckin mistake.

It was pretty rainy and I couldn't see shit from the the combonation of the rain, anger, people spewing rain on my windshield and poor lighting.  And as I'm turning.  Whan right into my right front tire.  Guy goes off the road and into a pole I nail the curb and land with half my car in the road.

I get out to see if he's okay.  Fortunatly he his airbags deployed.  Unfortunatly he wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.  He said his stomach and back and leg were hurting, luckily there was a nurse that stopped by and called the police and ambulence (cause I had no clue where the hell I was).

So we both got taken to the hospital.  I was fine, all I got was a flat tire, a dent and broken right blinker.  The other guys car was demolished.  the entire front was in shambles.  And it looked like a brand new jette too.

I'm sorry for you, and for the other man. I hope everything works out well. Still, a bad opening doesn't mean the rest of the year will be bad.

Oh but of course not.  I believe it will be a tremendous year.  Plus the next semester of of college is starting again soon.  And I got all the classes I wanted, except the marine biology one.

That sucks.  I hope your insurance company covers the damages... (although even if they do, they'll raise their yearly charges >.<)

Sorry to hear about your accident Tintenfisch.  At least you weren't hurt.  It could have been much worse.
