Anyone write any poetry?

Have any of you ever written any poetry of any sort? It's a long shot, but hey.. maybe you have! I've written a few in my time.

Well, I had to write it in like.....what....Gr.11?  I definitely don't write any now, since it's probably crack my brain first.

I gotta say at one point I was fairly good at it, both in and out of rhymes but the fact of the matter is after a long period of being depressed about life I kind of turned everything around and since then my poetry has gone out the window.

That's very similar to my situation.  It seems strong emotions fuel poetry.  When that time period of life ends, there is no more fuel for the poetry.  My best poems were written during highly emotional times for me and the words really reflect that.  When I go back and read them, I can feel all over again what I felt the day I wrote them.

I have also written one or two silly poems before.  I may decide to share those if I dig them up and don't think they are too rediculous.

I agree whole heartidly.  The other thing is I have not really sat down and tried to write poetry, I doubt it would e as emotionaly charged but that is something I should do some day.

only to jump start his bowels!

hey, back from the grave! i've been sooooooo busy this past month. anyway, to answer your question, i do write poetry... it's my job to write; be ready to hear of a book in the following years to come (perhaps even less)!

As he moved, he then hungered to dance as the wolves do- in a fiery fashion, with his eyes as red as burning fire.

(seriously Next_ Gen_Cowboy,  how old are you. i'm quite curious to know)
