Any truth to an old (last November) Nintendo Power release list that listed both Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2 and Tales of Phantasia GBA seeing US release?

Namco lists neither on their site.

Again, I'm hoping for that Mother compilation to get translated, but if not, guess I'll have to import (Does GBA have region lock on it? I don't think GB/GBC did, but I haven't yet bought any import games to try playing).

Wonder Swan Color has the final fantasy and romancing saga remakes :)

GP32 is a very cool handheld, unfortunately no english games.

There's a few SNES RPG ports on GBA like Breath of Fire, but I don't see any reason to play them since the original SNES version is superior.

Phantasy Star Collection.  It's the first Phantasy Star (Sega Master system) and its next two installments (both Genesis games) on one GBA cart.

Again though.. the original versions are superior.  The only thing GBA has had better ports of than the original is NES games.

Have fun hunting the originals down, though.  PSIII might not cost the $80 it did when it was a new Genesis game, but I still doubt you'd be able to round up it and the other two for under $30.  And they still wouldn't be portable.

That's why we have ROMS and copiers! So, we don't have to hunt down games that they don't sell anymore.

"Portable," though.  'Nuff said.

Ok.. I'll give you that, but I never could really see the point in portable gaming on the GBA.  I don't know how anyone can play that system.

The screen is way too small.  I can never tell what's happening because everything is too small.  The sound absolutely sucks on that tiny peice of crap speaker. (headphones remedy the problem, although still GBA's sound leaves some to be desired).

And the buttons.. they were made for midgets 4ft tall with small hands.  As much as I like video games, and as much as I like some of the games on GBA, I think the system design sucks.  I can't comfortably play it.  It's just too small.
