Meh I just got this problem and I can't get past it. Tried the search option and found nothin as well. Any chance someone could help? It's in the one cave (I'm sorry, forgot its name ><) that Bagin leaves you the letter about him and his friend's escapade n' stuff.   If any of you can help then I'd be really greatful. It's a great game and I'd hate to see it go to waste.....well for me that is xD If noone can help then I understand.

You'll have to save your game and transfer the .SRM file to BSNES and play past that point. Then you can transfer your save back and continue playing in ZSNES if you so desire. This is an emulator problem as far as my research can tell thus far.

I'd also be interested in your savestate. I may see if something can be done to help ease this issue on ZSNES since it is so widely used.

The .SRM file (normal game save) is what I'm looking for. This issue still occurs if you save your game (NOT savestate), reload it and try again, right?

Yes. I tried reloading from an actual game save like 3 times. ><
